Dental Implants
Free Consultation
If you are looking for a solution to your missing or failing teeth in Brooklyn, NY, then look no further than a dental implant! Implants mimic natural teeth in both form and function, giving you unparalleled results you can count on. Utilizing our dental experience and advanced technology, you can get a brand new smile that looks and feels natural.
The Benefits of Dental Implants
Implants provide patients with numerous benefits. They provide security within the mouth by being embedded within the jaw bone. This allows them to fuse to your jaw, just as if they were a natural tooth! Additionally, you’ll be able to eat, bite, chew, speak, and smile with confidence. Implants restore virtually 99 percent of natural function to your smile and are the gold standard option when it comes to tooth replacement.

Dental Implants
The Implant Process
The implant process takes some time because of how complex the surgery can be. It is important to choose a practice you can trust, like Bay Parkway Dental Center. We’ll discuss with you the entire process and evaluate your oral health to help you find out if you are a good candidate for implants.

01. Bone Grafting
You must have proper bone volume within your jaw to support an implant. If you do not, a bone graft will help get you back to that ideal state.

02. Place Implant
After the bone graft has healed, the implant will be surgically placed within your jaw. This allows the bone to fuse around the implant and give it a firm hold.

03. Healing Period
Once the surgery is complete, you will likely need three to six weeks of healing before we move on to the next step.

04. Set Abutment
The abutment is placed on top of your implant post and sits above the gum line. This piece is important because it connects the implant post to the dental crown.

05. Crown Implant
The final step of the implant process is to secure the dental crown to the abutment and implant. This will give you back the function and appearance of your smile!
